Privacy Policy

TrymeetIQ ("TrymeetIQ", "we", "us", or "our") is a scheduling and meeting automation platform operated by Sinisys Software Pvt Ltd, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices you have — including specific commitments around any data we access through your Google Account.

By creating a TrymeetIQ account, connecting your Google Calendar, or booking a meeting through a TrymeetIQ page, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

• Account information: name, email address, password (if you sign up with email rather than Google), company name, and time zone.
• Booking page configuration: event types, availability rules, and location/meeting preferences you set up.
• Invitee information: when someone books a meeting with a TrymeetIQ host, we collect the invitee's name, email address, phone number (if provided), time zone, and any notes they enter.

1.2 Information from your Google Account

If you connect Google Calendar, we request the following, and only the following, permissions:

• Read access to your calendar's free/busy time and event details, used to determine your real availability.
• Write access to create, update, and delete calendar events and Google Meet links on your behalf, limited to meetings booked through TrymeetIQ.
• Your basic Google profile information (name, email address, profile photo) to identify your account.

We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, or any other Google service.

1.3 Technical information

We automatically collect standard technical data when you use TrymeetIQ, including IP address, browser type, device information, and timestamps of requests, for security, debugging, and abuse-prevention purposes.

2. How we use Google user data

Google user data obtained through the Google Calendar and Google Meet integration is used exclusively to provide the scheduling functionality you request. Specifically, we use it to:

• Calculate your real availability by checking your Google Calendar for conflicts.
• Create a Google Calendar event (and Google Meet link, where applicable) when someone books a meeting with you.
• Update or delete that calendar event if the meeting is rescheduled or cancelled — through TrymeetIQ, or directly in Google Calendar.
• Keep your public booking page's available time slots in sync with your calendar in near real time, using Google's push-notification (webhook) mechanism.
• Identify your account using your Google profile information.

3. How we share information

We do not sell personal information or Google user data. We share information only with the following categories of recipients, and only as necessary to operate TrymeetIQ:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of TrymeetIQ, our users, or the public.

4. Security measures & protection of sensitive data

We treat Google Calendar and Google Meet data as sensitive information and apply the following safeguards:

• Encryption in transit: all data exchanged between your browser, TrymeetIQ's servers, and Google's APIs is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS.
• Encryption at rest: Google OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256 before being stored in our database. They are never stored in plain text.
• Minimized local storage: our local calendar-availability cache stores only busy/free time ranges and event IDs — not event titles, descriptions, locations, or attendee lists.
• Access control: only your authenticated session can access your own Google Calendar data. No other user, and no unauthenticated request, can read or modify it.
• Restricted internal access: access to production systems containing Google user data is limited to authorized personnel who need it to operate or support the service.

5. Retention & deletion of Google user data

• OAuth tokens: deleted immediately when you disconnect Google Calendar, connect a different Google account in place of the current one, or delete your TrymeetIQ account.
• Calendar availability cache: the local cache of your busy/free time ranges is deleted under the same conditions as above — on disconnect, account switch, or account deletion.
• Calendar events we created: events created in your Google Calendar through a TrymeetIQ booking remain in your calendar (as with any calendar event) until you or the invitee cancels the meeting, or you delete it directly in Google Calendar.
• Deletion requests: you may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing privacy@trymeetiq.com. We verify the request and complete deletion within 30 days, except for information we are legally required to retain (for example, billing records for tax purposes).

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your information, as described in Section 5.
• Withdraw consent for Google Calendar access at any time by disconnecting it from your TrymeetIQ dashboard, or by revoking access directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• Export a copy of your booking and contact data.

7. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect your account against cross-site request forgery. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

8. Children's privacy

TrymeetIQ is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International data transfers

TrymeetIQ is operated from India, and data may be processed and stored on servers located in India. By using TrymeetIQ, you consent to your information being transferred to and processed in India, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.

11. Google API Services User Data Policy

TrymeetIQ's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular, we confirm that Google user data is not used to serve advertisements, is not sold or transferred to third parties for their own purposes, and is not used to train or improve generalized AI or machine learning models.
